Who we are

The operator of this website, https://karnozin.com, is mypiano.eu s.r.o. (Carnosine Younger), Dunajská 4, 811 08 Bratislava, Slovakia (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at info@carnosine.sk or by phone on +421 918 501 501 and +421 908 721 712. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What personal data we collect and why

Orders. When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, company details (company ID, tax ID and VAT ID, if you order as a business) and the content of your order. We use this data to process and deliver your order, issue invoices, handle returns and complaints, and meet our legal accounting and tax obligations.

Customer account. If you create an account, we store your login details, order history and saved addresses so you can check out faster and track your orders.

Contact form and email. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, email address and message in order to answer your question.

Payments. Card payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe. Your card details are entered directly on the secure Stripe form and are not stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation of the payment and its status.

Delivery. To deliver your order we pass the data needed for delivery (name, address, phone number, email and, if you choose a pick-up point, the point you selected) to our delivery partner Packeta (Zásilkovna) or another carrier.

Technical data. When you visit the website, our servers and the plugins we use automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you open. We use it to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and make it work properly.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before a contract is concluded (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); to comply with legal obligations such as accounting and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); for our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure, answering enquiries and protecting our legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); and, where required, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where necessary and only with: payment providers (Stripe), delivery and logistics partners (Packeta and other carriers), our accounting and legal advisers, and providers of hosting, website maintenance and email services. These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as keeping items in your cart, remembering your language and keeping you logged in to your account. Where we use other cookies, for example for statistics, we do so only with your consent. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, but parts of the shop may then stop working.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example videos or maps). Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you and use cookies.

How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice data for as long as the law requires (generally 10 years under Slovak accounting and tax rules). Data from enquiries is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@carnosine.sk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to our systems.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. Last updated: October 2026.
